This tutorial is current for view module positions on templates for joomla 3.4, Joomla 3.5, Joomla 3.6, Joomla 3.7, Joomla 3.8, Joomla 3.9 and Joomla 3.10

Step 1

Go to Joomla 3.7 Administrator login.

Step 2

Click > Extensions>Template Manager.

Step 3

Click > Options.

Step 4

Select>Enabled and click Save&Close.

Step 5

Click >Hide the sidebar

Step 6

Select> Templates.

Step 7

Click>Preview.

Step 8

Preview module positions - for homepage.

NB: For pages, other than the homepage, necessary after url address to add code - ?tp=1. Example: www.yourdomain.com/page2?tp=1.
