How to create joomla blank page without articles and joomla content, so you can only use modules

This is tutorial for Joomla 2.5 and 3.0

Step 1

Go to Joomla Administrator.

Step 2

Go to Content - Categories - New category

Step 3

Create new category - example "Blank category". Save & Close this category

NB: Do not forget to fill the publishing options - Meta Description, Meta Keywords

Step 4

Create new menu item for category "Blank category" - example in "Main menu"

 Step 5

Choose a category "Blank category" and add Menu Title /example Blank category/

 Step 6

Go to tab "Page Display" and select an option for "Show Page Heading"

Save and close
