"Check date" is a joomla module to display messages to users for a certain period of time. The module checks the current date with the start and end date of the period to display the message. If the current date meets the condition, the message is displayed. If the current date does not match the condition, the module is not displayed. Up to 10 messages can be displayed with this module.

Example of using the module:

Every year there are holidays that are on the same date. On this date you want the site to have a message to greet users. But you may forget to put this message. This module will solve exactly this problem. Every year on this date/or period of time/ message will be show of your site.

Module options:

The module is easy to install and use.

The module has settings for the text of the message - color, font size, and others.

For each message you want to display should be determined:

-Start date of display. Date is in format: dd-mm

-Start of display time. Time is in format: hh:mm:ss

-Content of the message.

-Stop date of display. Date is in format: dd-mm

-Stop of display time. Time is in format: hh:mm:ss

To stop a message, for date and time - enter 00

Important: If you want the message to start running this year and stop running next year, you must use a message for every year.

Example:

You want the message to be displayed from 01 December 2020 to 10 January 2021 and each next period from 01 December to 10 January

Use the module and set two periods to display a message

From 01 December to 31 December

From 01 January to 10 January

Messages that are displayed may not have consecutive dates.

Example:

Message 1 can be displayed from 01 April to 10 April

Message 2 can be displayed from 25 September to 5 October

Message 3 can be displayed from 1 October to 10 October

During other periods, the module will not be displayed
